We are honored to announce our LeGene Lyman Memorial Scholarship!
LeGene Lyman is an essential part of our studio as she is a mother of Polly and grandmother of Devanee and Tanys. She shared her love and passion of dance with Polly, as she grew up in our grandmothers studio. Polly then passed those wonderful gifts down to us.
LeGene is the heart of this studio and the reason why we have such a deep rooted love of dance and sharing that same love with our students.
This scholarship is awarded to members of our competition company team who complete all four years of their high school journey as part of our competitive program — a reflection of their commitment, dedication, and love for the team.
SVDC wanted to find a way to give back to our dance community youth and help them look forward to their bright and promising futures.
Scholarship: $250.00
In addition, any applicant that achieves a 3.7 or higher GPA at graduation, will receive an additional $100.00.
